Commercial Analysis & Support



· Provide analytical support to China Controller for revenue, margin and overheads.

· Month end data analysis – complete regional reviews and provide commentary

· Forecasting / budgeting – regional sales and margins

· Manages the provision of Sales and Contribution reporting

· Weekly sales, order intake and dashboards reporting

· QAR process management – approvals and follow up reporting

· Margin analysis including exception reporting and review

· Support forecasting and budget process

· Control of L&E and consignment stock reporting and provisions

· Other provisions required as part of the billing process


Principal
Accountabilities and key competencies:


Insightful
identification of key business issues with regard to sales and margins
including risks, opportunities in both actuals and forecasts
Support
sales organisation in provision of information for MBTs and QARs
Insightful
analysis of progress against forecast and budget including effective
communication to a variety of stakeholders.
Ongoing
support and review including Credit Note provision and Bad debts
provision reviews, month-end close by conducting PA/PCA reconciliation,
analysis supporting sales & COS accruals, L&E, consignment stock,
sales stock provisions and balance sheet reconciliations, revenue
accrual, and accounting error identification and resolution, billing
expediting and cut-off reviews etc
Work
with the Business Finance network and other stakeholders in the business
to deliver end to end process improvement and drive up the quality of
both reporting and analysis.
Maintain
E-mail scheduler (and any other systems) to pass information to the
business where appropriate for the area of sales and marketing
Review/Forecast
and cost control for Semi Selling overhead
Implement
MBT/QAR controls and reporting, feedback and register
Support
on business review presentation prepare
Support
on bank guarantee letter application
